We say one B-word a lot in North Jersey, and no it’s not bada-bing.

If we are being real, it’s b*tch. If you have ever watched one episode of Real Housewives of NJ or Jersey Shore, you know that’s true. However, there are a few other secret B words we North NJ girls know, especially us Bergen County ladies, and it all has to do with carbs baby.

Because if you are from North Jersey, you have a fetish for carbs.

There’s no getting around it. I mean how can you not? You are at the intersection of all things great - brick oven pizza, bagels, Korean fried chicken… even if you’re sad, you at least know you won’t be sad AND hungry. Because we all know that’s a recipe for disaster, for me that is.

And, I can’t forget Newark/ Essex County. No not just because of the Sopranos, but because of my Dad - a real Newarker, born and bred.

I know you’re feigning for the slutti secrets, so let’s get to it -

Here are the 3 Bs that are the key to your carb dreams in North Jersey
